Duly Paid / About

The calm, firm professional in your corner.

Chasing money you've earned is awkward, slow and easy to put off. So we built something that does it properly, and never lets it get personal.

Most big companies have a credit-control team. Most small businesses have a Sunday evening, a spreadsheet and a knot in the stomach. Micro businesses spend around 75 hours a year chasing late payments (Department for Business and Trade, 2025), and 80% of those that give credit don't use any invoicing software at all.

The law has been on their side since 1998: businesses that pay late owe interest and compensation. But the rules are fiddly, the rates change every six months, and asking feels confrontational. So the money goes unclaimed and, too often, unpaid.

What we believe

  • Polite works. Most late payers aren't villains; they're disorganised. A clear, courteous reminder at the right moment fixes most of it.
  • Persistence works better. The difference between paid and unpaid is often simply who keeps asking.
  • The figures must be right. If you're going to claim interest, it has to be the correct rate for the correct period, to the day.
  • You stay in charge. Nothing formal or legal happens without you pressing the button.

Who we are

Duly Paid is run in the UK as part of Highfold Group, a group of independent online businesses for small firms. It's for businesses (sole traders, partnerships, companies and LLPs), not for personal use. We're not a law firm or a debt collection agency, and we don't take a percentage of anything you recover. We make software, keep it accurate, and answer our emails.
